Randolph W. Pinna

President, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman

Mr. Pinna was appointed the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of CXI when it began operating in October 2007. From 1989 to 2003, Mr. Pinna was President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Foreign Currency Exchange Corp., and remained in this role after the friendly acquisition by Bank of Ireland Group until October of 2007. Mr. Pinna was responsible for the growth of Foreign Currency Exchange Corp from a small, one-location operation in Tampa Bay, Florida, to being a multinational publicly-traded company on the TSX with over 30,000 customer and client bank locations.

At Bank of Ireland Group, Mr. Pinna was tested and promoted to being Chief Executive Officer for Bank of Ireland's North American Foreign Exchange Business and was one of the five executives on Bank of Ireland's US Supervisory committee. In this role, he was involved in all aspects of the five businesses of Bank of Ireland in North America, which included the Asset Management division in Toronto, the lending unit in Santa Monica, the Bank of Ireland branch in Connecticut, the foreign exchange business based in Florida, and the accounting unit in Delaware. In his supervisory role, he was heavily involved with all aspects of compliance with various state and federal regulators as well as the Bank of Ireland internal audit and risk management departments.

Having graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance with a focus on International Business, Mr. Pinna has over 25 years of experience in international banking with an emphasis on foreign exchange.


Joseph August

Director of Currency Exchange International

Mr. August retired from the Royal Bank of Canada as Managing Director and Head of Foreign Exchange Services, North America. Mr. August was responsible for the development, marketing, delivery and end-to-end management of foreign exchange products in the personal and business markets across Canada and the United States.

Mr. August previously lead the Foreign Exchange, Trading, Payments and Ancillary Products Group for Retail and Commercial Banking; the Business Development – Trading Products Team in Commercial Banking; Treasury's Product Management Group (foreign exchange, deposit, investment, interest rate risk management and precious metals); managed the hedging activity of the Bank's Foreign Currency Exposure Management Committee; and headed the Bank's Foreign Currency Exposure Management Group. He has also held various positions in Corporate Lending; Commercial Marketing – Cash Management; and Retail (Branch) Banking. Mr. August graduated from Widener University with a BSc in Business Administration with a Major in Economics and Minors in English and Engineering.


Mark D. Mickleborough

Director of Currency Exchange International

Mr. Mickleborough was appointed as a director of CXI in December 2007.  Mr. Mickleborough is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada and 2006 has been a partner with the law firm Fournie Mickleborough LLP since 2006.  Prior to that, he was a partner with the law firm Rogers, Campbell, Mickleborough from 1997 to 2005.

Mr. Mickleborough graduated from Princeton University in 1982 and Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985 and has been practising corporate and commercial law for the past 24 years in Toronto, Canada.  During that period, Mr. Mickleborough has been a director of various private companies as well as public companies, such as Foreign Currency Exchange Corp (listed on the TSX) until 2002, and a closed-end investment trust inter-listed on the Toronto and London Stock Exchange.


Dr. Sanford Pinna, M.D.

Director of Currency Exchange International

Dr. Pinna is a licensed physician in the State of Florida. Dr. Pinna is a graduate of the University of Bologna, Italy. After his residency in New Rochelle, N.Y. , Dr. Pinna practiced as an Emergency Physician for 22 years in St. Petersburg, Florida . After leaving Emergency Medicine, Dr. Pinna opened a medical clinic in Kissimmee, Florida. In 1987, Dr. Pinna incorporated Foreign Currency Exchange Corp with his son, Randolph Wolfgang Pinna, who subsequently developed the corporation to such an extent that it was purchased by The Bank of Ireland.

Dr. Pinna speaks five languages fluently and writes articles concerning foreign exchange and international finance. He has had three articles published in Barron's Magazine and two letters published in the Wall Street Journal. He has had many posts published in the Financial Times of London. He lives with his wife in Orlando, Florida and they have four children and seven grand children, most of which are bi-lingual.


V. James Sardo

Director of Currency Exchange International

Mr. Sardo is the Chairman and a director of Capstone Infrastructure Corporation and a director of New Flyer Industries Inc. Previous directorships include: Consolidated Thompson Iron Ore Mines Limited, Hydrogenics Corporation, Countryside Power Income Fund, UE Waterheater Income Fund, Custom Direct Income Fund, SonnenEnergy Corp and Northstar Healthcare Inc.

From 2004 to 2005, Mr. Sardo served as interim Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Royal Group Technologies. He was formerly President, Canadian Operations of Moore Corporation Limited, President and Chief Executive Officer of SMK Speedy International Inc., Chief Executive Officer of SNE Corporation and CEO and Director of Amre Inc. He is also the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Firestone Canada Inc. and the President of Firestone Industrial Products Company. He is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds the ICD.D designation.


James D.A. White

Director of Currency Exchange International

Mr. White brings over 25 years of business experience, including various field, management, and financing roles in the mining industry, professional services, and operational and administrative oversight. Mr. White is Managing Partner of Baynes & White, an actuarial consulting firm since 1993. He also acts as Interim President of Normiska Corporation, a soft minerals processing company, and acts as Interim President of International Explorers Corporation, a mining and mineral resource property company. He sits on several boards in the public and private sectors.


Chirag Bhavsar

Director of Currency Exchange International

Mr. Bhavsar was appointed a director of CXI in August 2012. Mr. Bhavsar is currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CNLBank, a role he has had since March 2002. Previously, Mr. Bhavsar was the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Florida Choice Bank from April 1999 until March 2002, and Senior Audit Manager of Hacker Johnson Cohen and Grieb, a specialized Accounting and Auditing firm for state and regional banks, from 1992 to 1999.

Mr. Bhavsar received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1990 and received his Masters in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1991. He graduated from Banking School at the University of Virginia in 1993.
