CXI History

Currency Exchange International was founded by Randolph W. Pinna who has overseen the business of CXI for over the last ten years while being the President and CEO of Foreign Currency Exchange Corp (FCE). Being one of the original founders of FCE, Mr. Pinna grew FCE's company from a small business into a publicly traded, multinational FX provider consisting of ten retail branch locations and well over 1,000 wholesale relationships. In 2003, FCE was acquired by Bank of Ireland Group under a friendly merger agreement.

After over four years of growing FCE for Bank of Ireland Group, Mr. Pinna acquired the retail operations away from FCE and formally launched Currency Exchange International as the Florida Corporation that would allow for growth of the retail division as well as the core wholesale operation.

Since the retail operations of CXI have been in existence nearly a dozen years, the business has developed many long term repeat clients due to CXI's reputation of having quality people providing exceptional service at highly competitive foreign exchange rates.
