Currency Exchange International is looking for a proactive, results-driven, and organized professional to the join the team as a Financial Data Analyst.

Description: The Business Improvement and Intelligence department is looking for an enthusiastic professional for our Financial Data Analyst position. This position is responsible for conducting extensive, accurate analyses of the organization’s cost centers and creating visualizations and dashboards predominantly in Tableau that effectively communicate this information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Become the point-person within the Finance Group of the organization for understanding and providing analysis with which to better manage key costs. This process will begin with shipping and commission, then move on to other cost centers such as bank fees, legal and professional fees, and more.
  • Shipping analysis will include:
    • Creating and maintaining database of shipping cost structure
    • Auditing of actual vs contract pricing
    • Optimization of existing shipping routes
    • Segmented cost trend analysis
  • Commission analysis will include:
    • Audit commission structures and delivery system.
    • Create commission reports for internal and external customer
    • Segmented cost trend analysis
  • Execute any other ad hoc Cost Analysis projects assigned

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field)
  • Skills with Tableau and Microsoft Excel necessary to function effectively
  • Ideal candidates should display exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of data management, auditing, and statistical analysis preferred
  • Knowledge in other coding languages such as Python, VBA, and R preferred
