Currency Exchange International is looking for a Full-Time Payment Processing Specialist  to join their team at the Corporate Office in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose: The Payments Processing Specialist is responsible for completing the payment process in a timely and accurate manner. The purpose of this position is to optimize daily payments activities to assist with the best performance of the payments department and the organization.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Process domestic and international wires using FxO.
  • Create, and/or modify payment templates on the FxO.
  • Review & amend specific client payment templates in FxO that are entered via API.
  • Modify wire instructions in the CEIFX Repair Queue to sanitize client payment instructions.
  • Confirmation of liquidity provider counterparty deals via Fxall.
  • Create banknote wire payments on various platforms as requested by Treasury and Accounting Teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all banking and regulatory standards and immediately report suspected or unusual activity.
  • Escalate all operational risk event issues for self-reporting.
  • Monitor daily reports of exception items and escalate where necessary.
  • Inputs/Uploads domestic and international transactions into applicable systems, using various technologies.
  • Triage new tickets submitted to the payments department and escalate appropriately and timely.
  • Work with the compliance team to identify and escalate AML and KYC issues.
  • Work closely with the Finance and Treasury departments and identify any discrepancies.
  • Meet departmental standards for processing time and accuracy.
  • Consistently comply with all company guidelines and policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Field and respond to inquiries as needed and escalate issues appropriately and timely.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Required education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred education: Associate degree in business administration, finance, accounting, mathematics, economics or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 year of work experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT and bank online platforms is preferred but not mandatory.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time hybrid position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.
