5 Best and Worst Performing Currencies for the US Dollar


The new year seems to have started on the right foot for the US dollar. Eventhough the strong US dollar continues to be a noticeable prediction of future confidence, it also indicates concern for other countries.

"Most analysts expect the US currency to strengthen in 2017, extending a gain that has boosted the value of the dollar by more than one-third since the U.S. credit downgrade in 2011," according to Wall Street Journal

To give you a better perspective we've put together a list of the top five best and the top five worst performing currencies from the beginning of this year until now (YTD), and from last year until this year (YOY).
