Felix Mazer

General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary

Mr. Mazer is the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary for CXI. He oversees all regulatory compliance issues for CXI and joins with a wealth of experience working with financial institutions. Previous to joining CXI, he was with Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”), where during his 7+ years with the organization he took on increasing senior and more diverse roles within RBC Capital Markets (Canada) Compliance. Mr. Mazer initially joined RBC as head of RBC Capital Markets (Canada) Control Room. He subsequently went on to senior roles within RBC Capital Markets Institutional Compliance which included, Director of Compliance for the institutional equity and derivatives trading business in Canada, and most recently, Director and Senior Advisor with RBC Investor and Treasury Services. Prior to joining RBC, Mr. Mazer was Senior Policy Counsel with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (“IIROC”).

Mr. Mazer is a licensed lawyer in Ontario and New York and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the New York State Bar.


Stacey Prakash

Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer

Ms. Prakash is the Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of CXI. Mrs. Prakash has more than 15 years of foreign exchange experience working with Mr. Pinna at FCE and CXI. Ms. Prakash’s background and experience has focused on strategic development, operations, and regulatory compliance and reporting. Prior to CXI, Ms. Prakash served as Chief Compliance Officer for Bank of Ireland’s FCE in both the United States and Canada. Additionally, while FCE was publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE:FXX), Ms. Prakash served as the Vice President of Operations for six years and as Chief Financial Officer for four years before the company was acquired by the Bank of Ireland.

Ms. Prakash received a Bachelor degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and a Political Science degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.


Catherine Shepardson

CAMS, Compliance Officer

Ms. Shepardson is CXI’s Compliance Officer and is in charge of monitoring and reporting the results of compliance efforts of the company in the U.S.A. She is responsible for ensuring the company adheres to all applicable BSA regulations and regulator's compliance rules and policies.

Prior to joining CXI, Ms. Shepardson was a Retail Manager at Foreign Currency Exchange Corp (FCE). More recently she led the training department at CXI, implementing a new training program that coincided with the company’s policies. Ms. Shepardson is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), graduated Valencia Community College with an AA in Business Administration, and is pursuing a BA in International Business.


Khatuna Bezhitashvili

CAMS, SHRM-SCP, Vice President, HR

Mrs. Bezhitashvili is responsible for managing the Human Resources department covering all aspects including development of and adherence to company policies. Mrs. Bezhitashvili is member of the compliance committee forming guidelines and providing research, while also managing CXI’s federal and state licenses. Prior to joining CXI, she worked for Bank of Ireland's FCE as well as a major Orlando International Law Office specializing in International Business law.

Mrs. Bezhitashvili is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Board Member of ACAMS Central Florida Chapter. She graduated Suma Cum Laude in Economics (1999) from the Technical University of Georgia, earned a BA in International Affairs from Rollins College in 2005, and attained her MBA from Webster University in 2011.
