6 Unknown Tips for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Looking for a great way to get into the fall spirit? Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the perfect place to go to be surrounded with fall décor, show off your best Halloween costumes, and even go trick or treating.

Currently running from mid-September to the end of October, Disney won’t let you down with this unforgettable experience. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about you or your children getting scared in this fun Halloween environment. While you're here, let's go over six unknown tips to make sure you're ready for this event.

1. Don't wait in long lines for Walt Disney World theme park tickets

Did you know you can save money and time when you purchase your Walt Disney World tickets with CXI? Now you can skip those unnecessary long lines by getting them ahead of time at any of the following CXI locations:

2. Leave your treat bags at home

While many kids come to the party looking forward to trick-or-treating the night away, you won’t worry about packing a treat bag! Everyone receives a special Disney bag upon entering the park to fill up with all their goodies. Guests of any age are invited to trick-or-treat around the park.

3. Grab a party map

Want to know where all the candy is around the park? Magic Kingdom created a special event just for the party that shows you every trick-or-treat location, where you can take pictures with your favorite characters, and find other exclusive treats and merchandise.

4. Leave time for some exclusive performances

During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, not only is there a special parade but you also don’t want to miss the “Hocus Pocus Villian Spelltacular” Stage Show. These two shows are made specially for this event! The parade happens twice a night and even includes an appearance from the Headless Horseman.

5. Show up in costume

This is the only time of the year that Disney allows all guests to visit in costume. This is your chance to show off those Halloween Costumes and makes for some good photo opportunities. Even the Disney characters have Halloween themed costumes, so don’t forget to dress up for this event.

6. Don't leave too early

During every Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party there is a special firework show. This unique show includes a soundtrack of some Disney creepy classics like “Who’s Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?” and “The Skeleton Dance,” while Halloween themed projections cover the castle. You can enjoy some of that candy you’ve collected while watching this spectacular show.

Whether you’re going for the candy or to enjoy the shows, we hope these tips ensure you don’t miss out on anything while you’re planning to go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
