- One Child Nation - With a 98% on rotten tomatoes this documentary is already certified “fresh”. One Child Nation follows the path of award-winning documentarian’s Nanfu Wang as she documents the aftermath of China’s strictly enforced “one child per couple” law.
- Abominable - A little less serious of a movie than the others mentioned above, Abominable is an animated film that’s sure to be up for many motion picture movie awards this year. Starring the voices of Eddie Izzard and Sarah Paulson, this adventure follows a teenage girl and a Yeti as they explore the Himalayas in the hopes of reuniting the creature with his family.
