Apparently purchasing low fare flights in Canada is a long overdue issue and is finally bringing travel excitement back to Canadians, so many can afford to see their family and friends without breaking the bank.
CBC News reports that CEO Jim Young said, "Canada is not well-served by airlines today, and as much as there's a duopoly of Air Canada and WestJet, Canada lacks the low-cost point to point service pretty much every nation has available and lower landing fees mean we have savings we can pass on to you."
Young also said he is planning to soon announce U.S. destinations in upcoming months with some new locations including Florida, California, Arizona and Las Vegas.
